Albums I bought in 2011 (part 2)

(Continued from previous post)

{11} I have been an avid fan of Florence + the Machine since I was able to see them in concert in April of 2010. Andbutso this summer I was very surprised to find a secret album I didn't have. It's called "Lungs - the B-sides" and it rocks. {Get it here or on iTunes}

{12} Ellie Goulding is a flawless human being. That is all. "Lights" is the name of the album. {Get it here or on iTunes}

{13} Vince Guaraldi Trio's "A Charlie Brown Christmas". I may have bought this album in October. So sue me. {Get it here or on iTunes}

{14} An exciting release this year was Coldplay's new album "Mylo Xyloto". I love the dance vibe and am very much looking forward to seeing them perform in Seattle in April. {Get it here or on iTunes}

{15} Florence + the Machine delivered a knock out with their second album titled "Ceremonials". I honestly don't know how their going to top this, but to be honest, I didn't know how they were going to top "Lungs" either... Anyway, I order the deluxe box set including the bonus disc which had EIGHT songs on it including three acoustic tracks and two demos. {Get it here or on iTunes}

{16} I'm not sure if a single with three tracks counts as an album but I'm including this one because I think everyone should know about it. The album is called "Permafrost" and it's by a young Canadian girl by the name of Laurena. I heard about this music in this Vlogbrothers video and you can find the original music video here. {Get it here or on iTunes}

{17} The seventeenth and final album I bought in 2011 was Laura Marling's "A Creature I Don't Know". I've been a fan a Laura Marling for a while now and I'm definitely feeling her folksy vibe. {Get it here or on iTunes}

I hope this small glimpse into the world of music I enjoyed in 2011 paints a bit of a picture of me.
