Seattle is a wonderful place for thrifting {v.) the act of buying things you love and being thrifty simultaneously}. My go-to place for thrifting in Seattle has been Value Village. Some say that it's even cheaper than Goodwill... One of my best finds at VV have been this beautiful pair of black pumps for $7:
Another favorite are these two silk scarves in the style of the ever popular Hermes brand (~$5 each):
And speaking of beautiful scarves, I picked up these two beauties from a vendor at the street market on Portobello Road in London for 1 British pound each:
If you have the patience for it, thrifting is a great way to find quality and unique merchandise for an affordable price. Here are a few great places to thrift or find great vintage pieces in the Seattle area:
- Le Frock Limited (317 E Pine)
- Alexandra's Exclusively Designer Consignment Boutique (412 Olive Way)
- Fremont Vintage Mall (3419 Fremont Place)
- Twenty Twenty (5208 Ballard Ave NW)
